I love Harvest Moon and Rune Factory 3 is the best Harvest Moon I've ever played. It has a great storyline and way more stuff to do than in a normal Harvest Moon, which I sometimes get bored of. I just love everything about this game. It was very challenging which I liked and I spent every spare minute playing this game. I lost track of time playing this game. It's just amazing.

The only thing that made me sad was that you can't do anything with your kids. I kinda wish there was more with that but I can't complain. This is just a great game, but it will steal all your time. I would like to thank Wal-Mart for getting this to me very quickly. It was a surprise when I got it early. Rune Factory 3 is an Awesome game!!! I recently got a 3DS as a gift from my Fiance, and the first game I bought and played was Harvest Moon: A Tale of Two Towns.

I saw Rune Factory 3 and everyone was saying it was like Harvest Moon but with fighting as well, so I thought yeah my kind of game!!! There are several things I don't like about the game. The controls are different so it is hard playing this game, I expected that! But it gets very annoying when you're trying to pick up an item and pocket it but you miss picking it up and instead teleport after fighting your way through a group of mobs when your low level to get said item only to have to re-fight your way back and have it happen again. Over and over.

Its not just me, the game lags you play fast, so it will happen. My second biggest problem is I HATE the voices in this game. I hate the english dub so badly that I buy ALL my anime/drama with the original language and read english subtitles. You can't turn off the english dubbed voices in this game, but if anyone knows of a way PLEASE let me know, I really do like the actual game music just not the characters voices. The trailer and accompanying music are what sold me on this game they get 10 stars in my opinion.:) I actually try my hardest not to skip the beginning intro whenever you load the game xD, but after the opening song is done the sound gets turned off. The game also makes me feel like I am a sheep being herded around and told in a 'Your dumb unless you do EXACTLY what I told you to do and DO IT RIGHT NOW' tone of voice.

Basically the voices are ANNOYING and the initial tutorial of being shown how to do things sucks terribly. After you get past the tutorial areas it gets better as long as you turn off the sound like I do. Another thing is the main female character who finds you is VERY annoying, she was blacklisted from my marriage candidates 5 minutes after I met her. I hate snap-judgements but I honestly don't think my opinion on this will change.

I don't like the female marriage candidates in this game, they are so one sided and stereo-typical. I play Harvest Moon:A Tale of Two Towns about 75% of the time. I recently got Harvest Moon: Grand Bazaar and Rune Factory: Frontier. I think all of these games are preferable to Rune Factory 3. As of getting all these games I play A Tale of Two Towns and Grand Bazaar equally and will get around to Frontier again when I am done playing them then maybe I will try Rune Factory 3 again.
