I always thought the SNES Goemon games were the first ones though.) SNES -Legend of the Mystical Ninja -Ganbare Goemon 2: Kiteretsu Shogun Magginesu!

-Ganbare Goemon 3: Shishi Juroku Hyoe no Karakuri Manji Katame! -Ganbare Goemon: Kirakira Douchuu - Boku ga Dancer ni natta Riyuu (I've played each of these, the first one is the only one to be released in the West, apparently the other three were Japan-only games because Konami was disappointed about how poorly the first oe sold in the West. By the way, let's not let it happen again with the DS Goemon, okay? ) Nintendo 64 -Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon -Goemon's Great Adventure (or Mystical Ninja 2 starring Goemon) -Goemon Mononoke Sugoroku (Everybody knows the first two of these, Msytical Ninja starring Goemon is probably Goemon's most famous game, the first 3D adventure for him, and the official 5th game in the series - its Japanese name is Ganbare Goemon 5. This is why the NES games confuse me, if the SNES ones were Goemon 1-4 then what are the NES games?

Anyway, the second game on the N64 is Goemon's Great Adventure, a sequel to Mystical Ninja, only in 2.5D like Kirby 64. Apparently the third game is a puzzle/party game, like Mario Party, but I can't be sure.) Game Boy -Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon (This game has idenical box ar to Mystical Ninja, although is very different. More in the style of the older SNES games.

I'm not sure if its an all new Goemon game, or a remake/rerelease of an old one.) Game Boy Color -Ganbare Goemon: Mononoke Douchuu Tobidase Nabe-Bugyou! -Ganbare Goemon: Seikuushi Dynamites Arawaru! -Ganbare Goemon: Tengu-To no Gyuakushu! (I'll be honest. I've never even heard of these. Moving swiftly on.) Game Boy Advance -Ganbare Goemon! Karakuri Douchuu (Famicom Mini Series) -Goemon: New Age Shutsudo -Kessakusen!

Ganbare Goemon 1+2: Yukihime to Magginesu (Well, the first one listed here I guess is a release of one of the two NES games, since IGN have after the title 'Famicon Mini Series', so its gotta be like the NES Classics we have. The second game is the 'new age' style with the redesigned Goemon and Ebisumaru. As for the last one.seems to be a compliation of two older games. Maybe the first two SNES games?) Nintendo DS -Ganbare Goemon (Our big hope for this year. Well, I'm looking forward to it, anyway. Currently the only Goemon game in development, unless the PS2 version comes back from beyond the grave.) PlayStation -Ganbare Goemon: Kurunarakoi!

Ayashigeikka no Kuroikage! -Ganbare Goemon: Oedo Daikaiten! -Ganbare Goemon: Uchuu Kaizoku Akogingu! -Goemon: Shin Sedai Shuumei (Again, I have no idea what these games are. I didn't even know Goemon ever had a game on the PlayStation until I searched on IGN, so.if anyone knows anything about these, post away.) PlayStation 2 -Bouken Jidai Katsugeki: Goemon (This is the game that went under the name 'Advance Goemon' for a while, all we saw of it was a few screenshots that looked a bit better than Mystical Ninja, and then some anime artwork taken from a cutscene.

Unfortunately I think this game has been canned now, which is a shame.) Arcade -Mr. Goemon (No idea what on earth this is.) That seems to be all of them. So anyone else can just post anything else they know about any of these games.

Also it'd be good if a mod could make this stick to the top of the page for reference to all future users. Right, I did some research (ok, I loaded up all of the ROMs I have and had a brief go at each one) to see which game is which, and I found out the following: On the NES there were 4 Goemon games, Ganbare Goemon 1 and 2, and also Ganbare Goemon Gaiden 1 and 2. The SNES had 5 Goemon games, the four 2D ones we already know about, plus a fifth game where Ebisumaru is the star. The N64 had the 2 Goemon adventures, and a party game. Finally on the Game Boy there are 2 Goemon games, an old one and a second one years later release to coincide with the first N64 game.
