Blue Six--aka Jay Denes and guests--have built up a formidable reputation for crafting deep, textured and eminently soulful house music even before the release of Beautiful Tomorrow, the collective's debut.
When Blue Six's debut album BEAUTIFUL TOMORROW came out, I remember describing it as 'chocolate for the ears.' I stand by that assessment today. It still stands as Jay Denes' best work, smooth and soulful all the way through. He takes R&B romanticism and places it firmly in a house context.

You can't but feel optimistic with the title track. After this album, I expected Blue Six to have many beautiful tomorrows, but, alas, it didn't turn out that way.
